Quick tip from real experience...
If your PCM connector breaks and you’re stuck with bad contact, some zipties can hold the harness tight enough to get you home. Not a permanent fix, but sometimes engineering is about solving problems with what you’ve got-
Had the connector ears on the PCM break off while working on it. If this happens, you can be in real trouble. The PCM controls your whole engine, so if it's got bad connections, it can cause the PCM to not properly read data from sensors and thus give wrong instructions to the different parts of your engine, which can cause misfires, backfires, and afterfires. Luckily, I thought for a bit and realized I had some zipties, and could try holding the wire harness on with them. And SUCCESS! It works almost as well as it did before, definitely still has a few problems, but it's more than drivable now.
